Everyday we should be progressing
Working towards achieving an ultimate goal. We are all meant to have a function in a society. If you aren’t progressing or putting in work, you are not contributing to society and this makes you very selfish. You are taking resources and not allocating your energy into progress. Actions should be done daily to either increase your longevity in the world (health) or to make a lasting impact within the world (community/family). We are considered to be young adults, we have started our entry into the “real” world. Guidance is almost minimal and we are expected to thrive on our own. It’s time to soak in reality, process and plan for the future. Small drama should be deemed irrelevant. In the grand scheme/scope of things almost none of it will matter or holds any significance, and will be completely forgetten in the the next 5 years/future. People who constantly encapsulate themselves into this world of inconvenience should be disassociated from your surroundings. You have real responsibilities and issues to deal with, things like that do not need to be apart of your adult life. People like this use it as an escape and a distraction from real world responsibility, this holds them back from progress. Awhile back my sister told me “you have one job right now as a student and that’s to do good in school” so if I’m not doing that, then what contributions am I making for my future?
We need to be productive and driven with the limited time we have.
But this doesn’t mean we shouldn’t enjoy what life has to offer. We should still attain to our relationships with people and attend to our hobbies. We need a good base of emotional support in order to keep our morale and wellbeing up. It keeps us connected to one another and society overall. It upkeeps our sanity. Everything is good in moderation. We will spend our whole lives trying to balance the many aspects our life is compromised of. Finding balance is the key to success in life.
