I started the last post at 12:00 but actually didn’t stop writing for like 45 mins. Post got hella long so I’m making a separate post, just to talk about shoes. So I think pretty much when I got into this sneaker thing I kept a list of every purchase. So I think I’m going to try this thing around the end of each month where I look over my purchases or the shoes I wanted but didn’t get. Look more into them and talk about them a little. Not sure if I’ll keep this up, because remember when I said I was gonna write regularly. Yeah that didn’t work out. I already know that this post will be really long because of that year gap.

Metallic 5’s 225− after sitting on the SNKRS app and not being to cop Master 12′s. I had money sitting there and I had been looking at these Metallic 5′s from solekonnect. Figured it′d be a good idea to get them since I had no 5′s, the supreme 5′s came out recently and I thought these were better, plus I had store credit from selling stuff burning a hole. I drag my dad out to and buy them. Really nice shoe, deadstock, nice leather upper, translucent icy blue sole. I loved the look of them. Then I actually put them on my foot, somehow it made me look stubby. They are so clunky and bulky. It really is a black man′s shoe. Wore them once and put them back in the box. Now trying to sell them because I know I can′t pull it off .

White Sk8 Hi 60Black/White Sk8 Hi 60- I’ll group both the vans together since I did buy them at the same time. I guess I tried to ride the streetwear wave. I was in the vans store with Tylen and alberto and bought these. The whites are a size a 13 because that’s the biggest size they had and the black was 15 because no 13 or 14. Now I could’ve ordered them online where a size 14, my true size was available. But I wanted them now and wanted to flex. I’ve only worn the whites like twice, really hard to get on but fit isn’t too bad. Worn the the black and white handful of times, really long
shoe but easier to get on and they look nice.
Wheat AF1 High 150 I remembert he year before these were kinda hyped and sold out everywhere. All the YouTubers and /r/streetwear were talking about it. So when I saw solekonnect posts these for 150, I thought it was an absolute steal. I went with Kim, Linh, and Tyler when I got these. I asked Kim to take us to Solekonnect. Link took a quick snap of them a sent them to Navi and Navi really liked them. I wore them to school twice and she would always comment on them. I like the shoe but it’s hard to pull off for me. Whole upper is covered in this tan durabuck similar to the wheat timbs but the strap really helps it stick out. Also trying to sell these.

ZX Flux Prism $86- Pretty sure this was the first shoe I bought off eBay. So around 2013 when runners were becoming a thing again these were some of the top. Adidas starting gaining momentum and these were hyped. Saw them and really liked them, hopped on the train late but it’s whatever.
ZX Flux Wave 140−Had these on my wishlist but the listing had expired and went unsold. The seller hadn′t relisted them so I messaged him and was like hey you still got these I′m interested. He says yeah i can sell them to you , but do you mind paying through PayPal because eBay takes a percentage. I explain to him that I′m too young fora debit/creditcard so I have to buy eBay gift cards and I tell them you can mark them up and extra 10 bucks or whatever. Guy is completely understanding and quickly list them so I can get them. This was a really good sort of first impression and experience with buying on eBay. I remember Ms B and Jadyn telling me how they liked my shoes and how it was like a piece of art on my shoes. But the thing with these is that they never went up to a size 14 so they′re 13, meaning they are tight . I don′t get to wear them as much as Id like to

AF1 Nai Ke $120- I really liked the look of the red supreme air forces but they were nowhere near the price range I liked. So I did a bit of searching and I found these, pretty nice shoes with a white swoosh and Chinese writing on the back. Got them in and they were sooooo long. They looked like straight torpedoes, with every step it was like I was snapping the shoe in half. (Size 15 btw) This made me hesitant to buy any size 15 shoe besides ultra boost and flynit racers. I wore them to school and remember my friends in English class talking about how long they were. Then there this kid who was a wannabe Hypebeast telling everyone in my PE class how expensive and rare my shoes were. Pretty sure he was confusing them with the supreme pair.
NMD Tokyo 130−these were apart of the first mesh NMD wave. Where every NMD primeknit or not would sellout instantly(still somewhat still happens today). I search up on eBay because I hadn′t attempted to cop on release day and I find these for 130. Which is an insanely good deal for the time considering it was sold out, resale was high, and it was only 10 above retail. Bought them off eBay and the box was kinda messed up but I was fine with it. Wore them out and got lots of compliments. The thing I was a bit disappointed about was the comfort level. I think the little blocks took away the cushion of the boost.
NMD City Sock 170- one of my only successful hyped adidas.com release. Same day 4 other glitch camo NMS r1’s were releasing. So I don’t think people were paying much attention to these. It was a bit of a hassle getting them in cart and then checking out. But I remember being happy to get them. In the wrong size though, 14 sold out right away so I had to grab a 13. Didn’t want my dad knowing I bought more shoes so I shipped them to Tylen’s house and rode my bike there to pick them up. Totally just remembered that they glow in the dark. First day I wore them with shorts most people were like wtf are those and even asked if they were yeezys. Nice shoes and comfortable upper, would be better if it were in my size.
